Motorhome MOT

Autoworks’ workshop in Benfleet & Southend is an approved DVSA MOT testing centre where we can carry out MOT tests for larger vehicles such as motorhomes (size restrictions apply).

Your motorhome needs an MOT every three years, just the same as your car and it’s incredibly important to make sure that you’re safe and legal before setting off on your next adventure. Bring your motorhome into Autoworks – our team of experienced MOT testers will undertake a comprehensive check of your vehicle.

During the motorhome MOT test, the same components are checked as would be in a standard car MOT which includes:

• Bodywork
• Brakes
• Lights and mirrors
• Seats and seat belts
• Steering and suspension
• The emissions levels
• The fuel system
• The horn
• The number plate
• Wheels and tyres
• Windscreen and wipers

If your motorhome fails its MOT, we can carry out any necessary repairs here at our workshop in Benfleet. Make sure you book the MOT in plenty of time if you’re planning a trip to make sure that you’re good to go when you want to go!
